Our Story

From personal struggle to transformative solution - the journey of SBF

2016: The Struggle Begins

Founder Sravan Balivada faced the same challenges as many Indian professionals, trying to follow Western fitness programs that demanded eliminating rice, dosa, and traditional foods. The results were temporary, and the approach was unsustainable.

2017: The Beginning

After starting his journey of studying nutrition principles in 2016, observing real life dietary habits, and understanding cultural food patterns, Sravan Balivada realized that traditional Indian foods weren’t the problem, the approach was. This became the foundation for the methodology he would later build.

2018: First Success Stories

The initial batch of clients achieved remarkable transformations while continuing to enjoy their traditional meals. Word spread quickly among busy professionals about this practical and sustainable approach to fitness.

2024: Sustainable Balanced Fitness is Born

From 2018 to 2024, Sravan and Cheena coached clients independently, long before there was a brand name behind the work. Those six years were built on experience, real transformations, and a deep belief that fitness should be sustainable and balanced.

In 2024, that belief became a brand. Sustainable Balanced Fitness was officially formed to bring structure, clarity, and scale to the philosophy they had already been living and coaching for years.

2024 – Present: A Growing Global Community

Today, SBF has transformed thousands of lives across India and internationally. Our community continues to expand across the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Dubai, bringing together professionals who believe in sustainable, balanced fitness.

Sravan Balivada

My journey into fitness did not begin with success. It began with frustration.

Like many Indians, I was told that to lose weight I had to eliminate rice, eat boiled food, and follow bland, restrictive diets. I tried multiple times. I failed multiple times.

Every time the weight dropped, the lifestyle felt impossible to sustain. I realized the problem was not discipline. The problem was the approach.

I did not want a fitness plan that asked me to give up my culture. Rice, sambhar, and traditional meals are not just foods. They are part of who we are.

That is when I started studying deeper. I explored evidence based nutrition, behavioral science, and long term habit building. Instead of eliminating traditional foods, I learned how to structure them. Instead of extreme restriction, I built balance.

Over the years, what started as personal experimentation evolved into a clear philosophy. Fitness must be sustainable. It must fit real lifestyles. It must respect culture while delivering results.

That belief became Sustainable Balanced Fitness.

Today, I combine scientific principles with cultural understanding to help professionals achieve long term transformations without abandoning the foods they love.

Meet Our Co-founder

Cheena

Certified Fitness Coach and Nutrition Specialist

I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. Since childhood, I was always overweight. I tried everything — GM diet, keto, paleo, and countless other plans that promised fast results.

Every time I lost weight, I gained it back. The cycle repeated for years.

There was even a phase in my life where emotional eating completely took over. In one week alone, I consumed five kilos of kaju katli. That was the reality of my relationship with food.

When I finally began my transformation at 85 kilos, I made one promise to myself. I would never follow a plan that I could not sustain for life.

I lost 35 kilos without giving up chai, rice, roti, or the staple foods I genuinely love. I learned how to structure my meals instead of restricting them. I built habits instead of chasing extremes.

Seven years later, I have maintained my 35 kilo weight loss and continue to grow stronger and healthier.

Today, I have helped transform thousands of women — not just physically, but mentally. I have seen women move from obesity to strength, from frustration to confidence, and from poor blood markers to thriving health.

My mission is simple. Women do not need punishment to lose weight. They need structure, balance, and sustainability.
